John Hyde founded Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 1993 to serve the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical community. Prior to the formation of Hyde Engineering + Consulting, John was a Senior Project Engineer with a biopharmaceutical research and manufacturing company located in Boulder, CO. His work included design, start-up and validation of key process systems and the overall responsibility for the cleaning validation programs for the firm’s large scale and clinical manufacturing facilities. From 1982-1993, John was Manager, Process Systems Design with an engineering firm specializing in the design and start-up of pharmaceutical, dairy and food process systems and the application of CIP technology.

John has published and presented papers at numerous engineering conferences and short courses on topics including biopharmaceutical process systems design, cleaning and cleaning validation principles and practices, FDA compliance strategies, and control systems design for manufacturing processes. John served as a member of the PDA Subcommittee for Biopharmaceutical Cleaning validation and in this capacity he contributed two chapters to “Cleaning and Cleaning Validation, Volume 3”. John serves on the board of the Society of Bioprocess Professionals (SBP) and is a regular speaker at conferences sponsored by SBP, ISPE, PharmaConference, IVT, Microrite and other professional societies. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Food Science and Business Administration and a master’s degree in Food Engineering from Ohio State University.

Simon Forder

Simon Forder has more than 26 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. During this time, he has worked with a number of pharmaceutical manufacturers. He was responsible for process development/transfer, new facility design/build, commissioning and validation for numerous capital projects. Simon Forder has also been involved with industry groups and has been a long-time member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) where he served as President of the West Coast Chapter.

In his current role with Hyde, Simon supports clients and employees to ensure customer and job satisfaction. Other activities include directing strategy and enterprise growth, as well as corporate planning.

Simon Forder is a graduate of the University of California Davis.

Kalpesh Patel

Kalpesh Patel joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2005 as an Engineer I. Currently, as Vice President, U.S. Strategic Operations, Kalpesh is responsible for the entire U.S. operation, running six regions. His expertise includes CIP, SIP, cleaning validation programs, commissioning qualification, and project management. Additionally, he has extensive experience in system start-ups, cycle optimization and troubleshooting for CIP and COP systems.

Previously, Kalpesh worked with International Medication Systems Ltd. as a Validation Engineer, gaining extensive knowledge and experience related to various aspects of validation activities. Prior to that position, Kalpesh worked as a research assistant and developed a tissue fatigue tester (medical device) using Pro/E modeling software to evaluate the strength and lifecycle of bioprosthetic heart valve materials.

Kalpesh received a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from NIT Surat, India and an M.S. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Cleveland State University, OH.

Ronald Berk

Ronald Berk, Vice President of Engineering, joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 1999. As VP of Engineering, Ronald is responsible for all engineering projects executed by Hyde. Ronald has extensive experience in capital project management and bioprocess engineering of biotech facilities and equipment; including start-ups, commissioning and qualification. He has worked on design of fill finish, biotherapeutic and vaccine manufacturing facilities. His design experience includes implementation of hybrid design utilizing an optimum mix of stainless steel reusable equipment and single use equipment.

Ronald’s career began in Nuclear Power, as a Process and Layout Engineer with Stork Engineers and Contractors. In addition to his depth of experience in design and project management, Ronald provided expert witness analyses and consulted on complex litigation cases for large construction projects.

Ronald graduated from the Higher Technical College Amsterdam with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1987 with a minor in Business Management.

Will Czerniak

Will Czerniak is the Managing Director, Hyde Engineering + Consulting Europe Limited. Will is responsible for managing Hyde’s business in Europe and developing new business opportunities by expanding Hyde’s presence in the European Region. Hyde currently operates out of two offices in Ireland, and one in Belgium. Will was responsible for opening the European Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland in 2010.

Prior to joining Hyde, Will was Vice President and Director of Major Projects in Europe for a large international engineering firm. He had management responsibility for business development, staffing and delivery of major projects for several business lines across offices in Ireland, the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Denmark / Sweden, Holland, Poland and the Middle East.

Will has held several senior positions including Validation Director and Business Development Director. He has been involved in many of the major pharmaceutical projects in Europe over the past 20 years. His primary activities include planning, managing and implementing engineering, validation, compliance, and quality processes for large pharmaceutical organizations. Will has also provided guidance, leadership and support for process performance excellence and continuous improvement. Will is a graduate from University College Dublin, and of the Smurfit Business School, Ireland.

Karan Manocha

Karan Manocha is the Vice President of Asian Operations for Hyde Engineering + Consulting, Inc. The Asia Pacific offices are based out of Hyderabad, India, and Singapore. Karan brings over 15 years of process engineering and automation experience in GMP facility design and project management. Additionally, Karan has extensive knowledge in start-up and commissioning for clinical and commercial manufacturing operations and automation. Karan is known for recognizing and implementing cost and time-saving changes to manufacturing procedures and processes while maintaining a high level of compliance.

Karan has managed and led engineering and consulting projects at many of the top pharmaceutical manufacturing companies; including Dr. Reddy’s, USV, Perrigo in Asia, and Pfizer (Wyeth), Sanofi (Genzyme) in the USA. Karan is the key point of contact for new and existing business in the region. Karan holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai and an M.S. degree in Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Kerren Bergman

As the Sr. Director of Human Resources for Hyde Engineering + Consulting, Inc., Kerren Bergman is responsible for strategic management and organizational development. Her experience in Human Resources encompasses full-cycle recruiting, personnel development, immigration, domestic and international compliance, benefits and compensation, and employee relations.

Kerren guides the development and strategic management of the global organization regarding the processes and value of human resources for the business. She serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee and adds value to our employees and the organization with over 25 years of training and development experience.

Kerren began her career with Hyde in 1998, as a Document Control Specialist and has held additional roles such as Recruiting Manager, Proposal Manager, and Regional Manager of Mid-West Operations. Kerren holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Kerren is President of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering – Rocky Mountain Chapter (ISPE-RM), as well as a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the National Association of Professional Women.


Chuck Poskie

Chuck Poskie joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 1996 and is Principal Consultant and Chief Financial Officer. Chuck’s responsibilities include the day-to-day business operations, including the management of all financial and infrastructure services. As Principal Consultant, Chuck specialized in the assessment, risk analysis, and remediation of cleaning and sterilization issues in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Prior to joining Hyde Engineering + Consulting, Chuck spent 14 years as a Quality Engineer at a pharmaceutical manufacturer, where he was responsible for the manufacturing of a wide variety of pharmaceutical and consumer products and R&D pilot plant operations. Chuck has a B.S. in Chemistry and Business from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rockford College in Illinois.

Sanjay Shah

Sanjay Shah joined Hyde in 2015 as VP of Engineering for Asia. He brings over two decades of experience from working at senior levels both in the US and in India with major engineering consulting as well as pharmaceutical/biotech companies. Sanjay is a SME in conceptual & detailed design, process engineering, process automation, commissioning & qualification, process debottlenecking, strategic infrastructure planning & capital projects, technology transfer and process safety management. He adds significant value to Hyde’s clients based on his rich experience spanning engineering & technology, operations and compliance.

Sanjay spent 16 years in the US starting in 1994. He joined a large international engineering firm and later moved to major biotech/pharmaceutical companies. He worked from ground up in various technical and management positions in the US at Kvaerner (John Brown), Amgen, PS&S and Eli Lilly (ImClone). As an Associate Director of Process Engineering at Eli Lilly in New Jersey, Sanjay supported large scale biopharmaceutical projects.

He relocated to India in 2010 and joined Dr. Reddy’s Labs as Director, responsible for setting up the Plant & Process Engineering Department. He later worked as Director & Head of Biologics operations at Syngene and then as VP and Head of Manufacturing Operations & Site Engineering at Intas, supporting the biopharma and plasma drug substance and sterile drug product operations.

Sanjay holds a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio and a BE in Chemical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.

Kevin Aumiller joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2012.  He serves as the Director of Hyde’s CORE Services division; a team of highly trained professionals specializing in cleaning development studies and analytical method development for the global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.

Prior to joining Hyde, Kevin served the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 15 years in various R&D, service, and marketing roles.  Working for a leading instrumentation manufacturer, he led several projects related to analytical method development and supported process improvement strategies across the globe relative to cleaning validation.

Keith Bader

Keith Bader has nineteen years of experience with specific expertise in project engineering, aseptic process engineering, cleaning process development, and validation, cleaning reviews and gap assessments as well as Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) Readiness.

Through the years, he has provided high level consultation to Hyde’s engineering clients in topic areas ranging from strategic quality and validation documentation architecture to detail oriented support, such as design of experiments and supporting study design. Keith has focused in recent years on the implementation of online instrumentation and process analytical technologies for clean-in-place systems; as well as the translation of bench scale cleaning process development data to full scale manufacturing systems.

Leveraging this expertise, Keith founded Hyde’s CORE Lab in 2012, a facility devoted to the development, exploration, and scale up of cleaning processes for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.

Keith has also published multiple journal and periodical articles; as well as, chapters in PAT Applied in Biopharmaceutical Process Development And Manufacturing: An Enabling Tool for Quality-by-Design by Duncan Lowe, and in Cleaning and Cleaning Validation, Volume 2, edited by Dr. Paul Pluta.

Peter Davies

Peter Davies is Director of Operations for Hyde in Europe. Peter’s focus is to manage all of Hyde’s recruitment and operations across Europe. This includes management of full time employees and contract personnel on all projects and assignments. Peter also works closely with the MD on Hyde’s business development, finance, project management and quality functions.

Prior to joining Hyde, Peter was managing an engineering recruitment division for the Berkley Group, a leading recruitment organization. Peter has over 10 years recruitment and operations experience with the engineering, pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. He has a strong background in managing teams, client stakeholders, budgets, project management and client account management.

Peter has extensive experience working in the European market supporting large scale projects within the areas of CQV, process, project management, validation and quality. Peter graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a BSC in Software Development.

Fearghal Downey

Fearghal Downey brings with him over 22 years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries, and in research and development. He is a talented leader with a proven record of accomplishments in completing projects successfully in the areas of clean-in-place systems, process and clean utilities, containment, commissioning, and qualification. Fearghal has excellent management, analytical and decision-making skills with a proven ability to plan and manage teams.

Fearghal holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from University College, Dublin, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. He began his career with Merck Sharpe and Dohme in Ireland within the Technical Operations group, specializing in preparing the facility for the introduction of new products and processes. Since 1998, he has predominately been responsible for project delivery from both a technical and managerial aspect. He has delivered large scale projects from design, through construction, commissioning, and qualification in both the API and biopharmaceuticals areas. During this time, he developed core expertise in several areas such as high containment systems (powders and liquids), fluid and powder transfer systems, clean-in-place design and operation and sterile processing.

Fearghal joined Hyde Engineering and Consulting, Europe Ltd in September 2012 as Technical Director for the European Operation, while also providing specialized knowledge to the Global organization, particularly in his specialty areas and project execution. He has been collaborating with the Hyde CORE laboratory since joining Hyde.

Fearghal is a very active member of the ISPE community and is currently serving his second year as Treasurer of the ISPE Ireland Affiliate and has been a committee member since 2010.

Richard Gummer

Richard joined Hyde-EC in 2016. Richard’s entire career has been in the life science industry beginning with Ayerst/Wyeth (now Pfizer), Kendall Healthcare (now Medtronic) and Baxter BioScience (now Shire).

Richard has delivered hundreds of engineering projects covering utility systems, medical devices, aseptic processing, small molecule and liquid pharmaceuticals, clean room design, facility expansions and construction management, facility shutdowns, technology transfer and scale ups, biotechnology processing for both clinical and full scale commercial operations.

Richard is well versed in life cycle requirements and GMP requirements for all geographies.

As Director of Engineering, Richard will manage and develop Hyde’s technical resources and engineering projects assuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Karrie Hogan

As the Director of Global Recruiting, Karrie is responsible for setting the strategic direction for recruitment and brand messaging for Hyde Engineering + Consulting. Hyde’s global recruiting department champions our culture by working to attract and retain the best and brightest engineers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.

Karrie brings extensive technical experience to her role. She started her recruiting career in Colorado, specializing in sourcing and recruiting BS, MS and PhD scientific professionals for the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, oil & gas, food and environmental industries. Prior to recruiting, Karrie was responsible for managing the sales of small to large-scale, in vivo and in vitro, monoclonal antibody production under cGMP and research guidelines.

Karrie holds a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She maintains balance in life by competing in triathlons and ultra-running. She is a 2-time ironman finisher.

Laura Nicholson

Laura Nicholson joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2015 and is Associate Director of Technical Services. Her responsibilities include providing technical guidance and method ownership for Hyde’s CORE Laboratory projects. This work has included projects for bench-scale cleaning characterization, analytical method development, protein degradation, and raw material impurity evaluations. She has also supported Hyde’s clients in establishing and maintaining compliant and efficient cleaning programs by assisting with validation planning, risk assessments, acceptance criteria determination, procedure and training documents, monitoring programs, and changeover strategies. She has had experience presenting to multiple jurisdictions for cleaning and process issues and has assisted companies with product impact assessments for complex failures.

Prior to joining Hyde, Laura spent 16 years contracting and working directly for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Her roles included automation programming, capital project management, validation (all disciplines), cleaning characterization, and process engineering. She holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from Rice University in Texas.

Frank is the Financial Director for Hyde Engineering and Consulting Europe Limited. Frank joined Hyde Europe in 2010, and he is responsible for leading the financial and administration functions in Europe. Frank is an accountant and over his career he has held a number of senior positions with mutli-nationals and large hedge funds. In recent years, he had specialized in helping US firms setting up business in Europe, where he provides advise on local taxation, banking and compliance issues.

Adam Pfeiffer joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2005 after completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.

For his first 9 years with the company, Adam worked for many different clients across the globe, specializing in clean-in- place cycle development, optimization, and cleaning validation, as well as process engineering and remediation.

In 2014, Adam transitioned into the role of Regional Manager, Midwest Operations.  Responsibilities in this role included client and project management, business development, and staff management and mentoring.  He transitioned into the role of Director of U.S. Operations in 2016.

Adam is actively involved in the local chapters of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).

Kurt Thoresen

Kurt Thoresen joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2014 as a program manager at the Hyde CORE Laboratory managing diverse client projects that included cleaning development studies, Total Organic Carbon (TOC) method validation, and extraneous material investigations. He later became the U.S. Director of the Project Management Office for all of Hyde and is responsible for setting standards and implementing processes to ensure project success for Hyde’s clients.

Prior to joining Hyde, Kurt worked at GE Analytical Instruments designing TOC analyzers and leading analytical instrument projects throughout the company. His earliest work included designing and testing a TOC analyzer that was sent to the International Space Station on the space shuttle Endeavour.

Kurt earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado – Boulder and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.

Lee Williams

Lee Williams joined Hyde Engineering and Consulting in 2016.

Lee has over 30 years’ experience in the bio pharmaceutical industry in the areas of product development, manufacturing, and capital project execution.  He has served in senior leadership roles for product development and capital project execution for vaccines and therapeutics on process, process equipment, utilities, and facilities design.  These efforts have spanned project lifecycles from conceptual design through start-up, commissioning, validation, BLA submissions, agency licensure inspections, and commercial facilities operations management. His expertise in process design, process equipment fabrication and capital project ranges from bulk process facilities through fill/finish and storage/distribution warehousing.

Lee’s career began at Amgen in 1985 in process development and manufacturing technologies design.  His career further progressed as Bioprocess Department heads for engineering firms such as Eichleay and BioKinetics.  He also has served as Sr. Director of Manufacturing Engineering for Medimmune /Astra Zeneca for nearly 10 years; then as Sr. Director of CMC for Emergent BioSolutions and Takeda Vaccines prior to joining Hyde. He additionally has multiple publications in process development and a patent on purification methods.  He also has instructed Bio Reactor Process Technology sessions for ASME, served on Disposable Technology and Bioreactor Design Panels at the 5th Annual Biomanufacturing Summit and consulted to Georgia State University on enhancing their bioprocess industry oriented programs. He holds memberships in PDA and ISPE.

Lee graduated in 1983 from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Cell Physiology with extensive course work in Chemical Engineering.

Aaron Bober joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2016 and is the Northeast Regional Manager, where he is responsible for managing Hyde’s Northeast United States Operations. Prior to joining Hyde, Aaron was a Capital Projects Manager/Senior Process Design Engineer with SNC-Lavalin Project Services Inc. where he designed/managed many small, medium, and large EPCM projects in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. The largest project Aaron managed was the design of a $150M USD greenfield facility for Bristol-Myers Squibb in Devens, MA. Aaron graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.

Jared Burke

Jared Burke joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2006 as a Computer Technician I.

In his current role as Manager of Information Technology, Jared is responsible for all corporate information systems and hardware within the company.

Jared contributes extensive experience in implementing and administering systems throughout the organization. As the company has grown substantially, his role has expanded to supporting six regions across the US, as well as international offices in India, Europe and Singapore. His great work ethic and collaboration with other department leads ensures system stability and functionality throughout the organization. Jared is a company shareholder and he currently serves as an active member of Hyde’s Operations Committee.

Nicole Collier

Nicole holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University at Ft. Collins. Nicole began her career with Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2004 in a cleaning validation consulting role, where she gained significant exposure and familiarity with cGMP regulations for drugs and biologics manufacturing. In 2008 she transitioned to a position with GlobeImmune in Louisville, Colorado where she gained experience in designing and qualifying Single Use Equipment in the manufacture of immunotherapy products from a yeast-based expression system. In 2010 she joined the operations team at Hospira, Boulder as a Manufacturing Engineer where she was responsible for the development of cleaning cycles for various APIs, as well as transferring several processes from development to full scale manufacturing.

She rejoined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2011 as a member of the engineering team where she consulted on various cleaning cycle development projects and cleaning validation master plan development. In 2013, Nicole joined the newly-formed Hyde CORE Laboratory in Louisville, Colorado transitioning into her current role of CORE Lab Operations Manager. Nicole is currently responsible for managing bench and pilot-scale cleaning cycle development studies as well as analytical method development studies. Her primary areas of expertise are in cleaning program development and validation, as well as single-use systems.

Tanner Lesley

As the Human Resources Manager, Tanner oversees policies and procedures surrounding employees within Hyde. Tanner became fascinated by people and cultures while growing up, which led him to pursue a B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University. He realized his passion for Human Resources through his Organizational Psychology coursework during his undergraduate studies. Tanner was inspired to continue his education in Human Resources and received his PHR certification. Additionally, Tanner holds an M.S. in Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of Denver. He is currently pursuing his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification.

When he’s not immersed in studies or work, Tanner enjoys skiing and backpacking the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado or relaxing on the sunny beaches of San Diego. Tanner’s interests in culture drives his passion for international travel. He enjoys volunteering in his local Boulder community and is an advocate for wellness and self-improvement.

Tanner is passionate about the role of HR at Hyde. The HR department serves to support the internal success of employees, aligning individual contributions to organizational goals. Hyde’s philosophy is to offer competitive and financially rewarding career opportunities for employees while creating a culture of teamwork and collaboration. The company’s dynamic international structure and multi-state operations requires compliance with local, state and federal laws, which is another focus for Tanner and the HR team.

Colm O'Flynn

Colm O’Flynn joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2015. Colm’s responsibilities as Regional Manager include developing the Singapore business & the regional technical staff, as well as providing lead engineering support for regional projects and clients. Prior to taking on the Singapore RM role, Colm managed a number of Hyde C&Q projects and process optimization initiatives for major pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients in Singapore, India and Vietnam.

Before joining Hyde, Colm worked as a Project Manager/Engineer at CSL in Melbourne, Australia where he managed/designed a wide range of projects in a plasma fractionation facility. He has also worked for BMS in Dublin, Ireland in a Process Engineering role.

Colm holds a Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the University of Limerick and BSc in Environmental Science from University College Cork, Ireland.

Pankaj Popshetwar joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2016 as a Senior Manager of Projects for Hyde India. Pankaj brings over 20 years of experience in project management, production, and process engineering domain. Pankaj has successfully executed multiple domestic and international projects on time, under budget, with total customer satisfaction while working with top pharmaceutical & biopharmaceutical companies; including Cipla, Wockhardt, RPG Life Sciences, Orchid Chemicals, SQI Diagnostics and GEA before joining Hyde. At Hyde, Pankaj is currently managing multiple concept, basic, detail engineering, and C&Q projects for global customers with cross functional teams.

Pankaj holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Marathwada. He has completed a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute in 2009, and since then Pankaj has been actively practicing as a certified PM strictly adhering to their code of conduct.

Erik has been with Hyde Engineering + Consulting for 5 years and is taking over the role of Midwest Regional Manager, where he will be responsible for the region's business development, project and staff management. Prior to coming to Hyde E+C, Erik had over 20 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industry with both large multi-national and small start-up companies. Erik's wide-ranging experience includes all areas of manufacturing operations, including fill and finish, single-use vaccine production, as well as process development, validation/C&Q.

Erik studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, on a Navy ROTC scholarship.

Kristina Sanchez joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting as the Quality Manager in 2015. In this role, Kristina is responsible for the development, growth and structure of the Quality Management System, its training and compliance to Quality System standards and regulations. An ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor, Kristina has experience in Quality Systems for electromechanical machines, medical devices and chemical manufacturing.

Kelly Scalva is Hyde’s Proposal Manager and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical & Biological Engineering from Colorado State University. Kelly began her career with ChromaDex where she gained experience with multiple analytical methods employed for the analysis of oral solid dose FDA regulated therapeutics and vitamin supplements. She joined Hyde in 2011 where she was instrumental in helping Keith Bader, Director of Technology, set up Hyde’s new CORE Lab. Kelly lead the lab until she was promoted to Engineer II. In the CORE Lab, she refined the procedures and methods employed for developmental cleaning studies. Kelly coauthored five published articles based on her time in the lab in Pharmaceutical Engineering, the Journal of Validation Technology and Pharmaceutical Technology and has been a selected speaker twice at the ISPE Annual Meetings (2013 & 2014) delivering novel presentations on two of her published works.

As the Proposal Manager, she continues to use her engineering capabilities to ensure the technical accuracy, cost estimation, scheduling and compilation of proposals from each of Hyde’s domestic and international regions.

Mike Wait joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in September 2004 and is Hyde’s Controller. Mike’s responsibilities include the book entries for the financial statements, creating financial tools for the management of the company, and working with the Hyde foreign entities to create consistent financial reporting throughout the affiliates. He also oversees the fundamental accounting practices for U.S. operations.

Prior to joining Hyde Engineering + Consulting, Mike spent seven years as an accounting supervisor for Siegel Oil Company in Denver, CO, and spent six years serving in the United States Marine Corps. He also gained extensive customer relations and management skills as a shift manager at McDonald’s restaurants. Mike has a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver, attended staff NCO training while in the Marine Corps, and completed several McDonalds management training courses.

Chris Wilkinson

Chris is the Regional Manager for Hyde in Southern California. Responsibilities include development and execution of regional strategy, staffing, and personnel.

Prior to joining Hyde, Chris worked in Protein Formulation Development and Operations Project Management at Amgen, GMP Project Management at Baxter, and R&D Project Management at Allergan.

Chris holds a BS in Chemistry from Middle Tennessee State University, and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University.

Tom Zubrzycki joined Hyde Engineering + Consulting in 2015.  Tom’s responsibilities as Regional Operations Manager include developing and growing the regional technical staff, managing P&L for the business unit, and oversight and support for regional projects and clients.  Tom has extensive experience in all phases of engineering design and in construction and start-up.  His key skills and competencies include large and small scale fermentation, protein purification, chemical synthesis, vacuum and pressure swing distillation, compounding, sterile fill/finish, modular design, solvent handling/storage and hazardous materials facility design, end of line liquid and gas waste treatment, relief system design, high containment processing and handling, process modeling (continuous and batch), safety reviews (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).

Tom has spent time in his career supporting capital projects in multiple industries from small and large molecule pharmaceuticals including API’s, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies (MABs), nutraceuticals, enzymes, and oligonucleotides to power generation (cogen), building materials, nuclear fuels, specialty and bulk chemicals, oil and oil sands refining. Tom previously served as a Lead Process Engineer and Lead Project Engineer at Jacobs Engineering on jobs ranging from $17MM to $220MM.

Tom received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University, SC and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey.
